A theatre lover turned artist

Morgan’s love for the arts started very young with a visual artist as a mother and having a musically gifted brother. Her love was always singing and acting. She was the kid constantly posing for photos and ready to put on a performance. She graduated from Sheldon High School, a California VAPA curriculum demonstration school where she was a part of the Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and Advance Theatre programs throughout her tenure. Her passion for the arts was greatly influenced by her research her senior year on how the arts is essential to building cognitive behavior in children and adolescents, particularly those with neurodivergence. She holds this belief with her in current teaching endeavors. Over a few years in the community theatre world around the Sacramento Area and after becoming a licensed Cosmetologist, she decided to switch gears in her career to focus on a life and career in the theatre. In 2023, she got her certification in Vocal Pedagogy from The Institute of Vocal Advancement and thus begin her career as a Vocal Coach. She is also continuing her education in Musical Theatre while being currently enrolled at American River College. With inquiries from students she then decided to use her Meisner Technique training from an Acting Course with Lori Russo to also bring her acting skills and directorial experience to her coaching business. She is now a multi-hyphenate theatre maker and coach, hoping to help performers of all ages and skill sets become the performer they’ve always wanted to be.
